LP and I hit the HP at the local bookstore. Some fun was had, pictures were acquired and I'm on page 575, roughly 3/4 of the way through the book. No spoilers, here, but I must say this-so far this book would make the worst HP movie. I cannot imagine how they would make it into a movie anyone would want to see, other than to find out the end of the HP story and by the time the movie is made, aborigines on Borneo will know the whole story. Hell, most of them probably have the book by this morning.
Anyhoo, I'll post some pics later. I need to tie up some loose ends and try to get some sleep. We're heading South to the Wisconsin Dells to hang out at a water park resort for the next 4 days and I need to get some sleep before we leave in 5 hours. I'll post from there after I get settled tomorrow. Man, I hope you are all having a WONDERFUL summer:)
By the way, If I can get PW to take pictures, you might all get to see me drop a tree on my house next week...

Dude, noah's ark. wave pool and anaconda.

have a great time :)... you will.
hmmm. how to put this. hmmm.
those that be, making HP, said it's going the way of the pet rock. exactly said, by them 'movie will suck'...'we need something new'
since they had no escape, i had them read 'Eve's Diary' by Mr. Twain. (lost by church folks in 1906, just happened to have it.)
history repeats itself. even in the book world.
things may change in publishing. they were all excited when they left. stupid New Yorkers. and yes, i dropped some blogging reads....
hehe. your being watched.
how do you spell self-conscious..
LOL I just bought it myself,today.... i'm about 75 pages into it.
By tomorrow I will have made significantly more progress, LOL.
M goal is to finish MY book, before my kids finish THEIRS, and delight in telling me how it ends (just as they did with the last one..... see my irate blog post today about it, LOL!)
oh, there will be pictures. maybe a movie.
up coming quotes:
"tree service, i don't need no stinkin tree service"
"pay up!! who bet on the car, swingset and the neighboors garage?"
"this is a lot like not stopping to get directions isn't it?... just trying to understand...."
"I feel Manly!.. o so Manly!.. hey.. what's the mix ratio for this saw, i bought it so long ago i can't remember."
"I'll start it for ya dear... wait, let me put down my wine glass and give it a couple of pulls."
ok. i'm dead when he gets home and checks the blog.
I'm going to look for those essays. i can only guess what he wrote.
I know he wrote it because a friend of his said "we need something new" and the book was extreemly popular, in a 'secret' sort of way.... and Harper & Brothers stopped printing it because of the ridicule which only made it more in demand (and expensive). public demand for a book... started the conversation.
it's still one of my favorite bedtime stories... (and my kids)
Would love to see the trees dropin on yer house. Yes that would be a must see.
Ok me is not an aborigines on Borneo or any other country me hasnt heard of. SOOOOOOOOOOO
That seems to be it. I's read LOTR first part and loved it but me aint got a clue about Harry Potter and his wizard pals. Oh the shame. LOL. Quess I's really one of the only people who hasnt read the series. GONNA. HAVE. TO. GET. IT. LMAO

New York women. go figure. they ask for the strangest things...
HEY! Your supposed to be sunnin and funnin!! whaat da hey r ya doin here?
spoil hyjacking yer blog... dang.
I totally agree that I have no idea how they would ever make this into a movie. It's going to take a lot of work.
Dorothy and I were at Navy Pier for Blogher this weekend and there's this GIANT anchor at the end of the pier. I was going to take a photo for you, but there were a gazillion children climbing on it and I didn't want to scream at them to move. So you'll just have to imagine in it your brain. Big anchor. There you have it.
