The only way to blog

Well folks, I'm back at sea. Somewhere in the Southern Ocean, not too far from NZ. Looks like I may not be able to get the old laptop connected to a Satellite this trip. The network admin onboard is being a stickler for the rules and regulations and that doesn't bode well. Who has time to blog anyway, what with chicks in grass skirts, boat drinks, daily massages and thrice-daily naps? Seriously, I've setup the old blogging by email thing and this is the first shot at it. I assume I email this to the correct address, it puts the subject in as the title and the text is posted-who knows?? Anyway, this is the only way I can do it, legally. Not sure about photos, given this novel way of blogging and a very slow sat connection.

The good news? Came onboard to find out the smokes in the bonded store have been locked down by NZ customs. The smokers are freaking out and the fire axes have already been locked up. The Captain thinks we can have them shipped out to us at a cost of roughly $100USD/carton...

Don't you hate people that always want to follow the rules?

I bet that admin is one of those geeks that always reminded the teacher that she had forgotten to assign homework. Loser. ;-)
