Journal Adrift: STILL

Adrift. Forever. I know eventually we will leave here, sail back to the prospect and begin working, again. But it doesn’t seem that way. It feels like we have been here for a month. I am beyond boredom.

Lets see, the weather was a bitch today. I woke up to the ship heaving, badly. Green water was breaking over the bow. Winds were up over 50 knots at times. This afternoon the captain gave up and broke DP. We sailed with the wind, south, for a time. As night falls we are sailing into the wind, back to our DP point off the little, deserted Island that has been our distant neighbor for the better part of a week.

Dinner was yellow fin tuna, again. This time it came with a spicy pineapple/orange coolie. I saw bits of hot pepper in there and was happy. Hot peach cobbler and fresh whipped cream. Fat bastard in the making, am I.

kido, what you need are some projects. Play McGiver and build a saltwater seperator, or bust up a mirror and build a parabolic reflector to light up the island or melt shit. The math will keep you busy. Put fun notes in bottles and send them a drift for the beach combers in florida like 'i see you' or 'i'm stuck on the space shuttle, send help'. true, polluting, but ain't medical waste here.. steal tubing from the engine room (chunk of the fuel line otta do) and build a still (a tuna/corn mash might be good). you have the net... hack into the national power grid and make the states blink like christmas lights.... if all else fails, build explosives no better entertainment then a good boom.

Here are some things to entertain you: there is a giant white limo outside my house picking up the neighbors? Why? No clue. Yesterday, there was an ambulance picking up a different neighbor? Why? No clue. It's snowing. Someone puked up a giant hairball this morning, but I can't tell which cat. Lost is on tonight, and it's going to be awesome. Go ahead and download Season 1 onto your computer from Itunes right now because you have the free time. DO IT. :)

Oh man, don't ever say you are bored around a mom.
We'll always find stuff for you to do and it always involves a lot of cleaning and heavy yard work.
Hang in there!

I love the ideas, guys! However, we're taking the supply ship alongside right now so today is going to be busy, busy, busy for a change:)

blondie-your first neighbors are really mob bosses, they killed your other neighbor and King yacked up the hairball because he heard your dying neighbors screams. If I had the satellite bandwidth I would definitely download Kate, I mean Lost.
