STS-123 launched at 2:23 am, on it's way for a 16-day mission to the ISS. Seven astronauts, a Japanese laboratory and one helluva show. After all these years and launches, it never fails to leave me in awe of the things we are capable of, if we only put our minds to it.

watched it (on nasa). There was a oh shit moment when it hovered just off the pad for a fraction of a second.
the physics of that thing is awesome. it is one big candle under your butt.
Way to bring it down to the basics mr. bud. ;)
When I was a kid, that's what I wanted to do with my life. Hell, if they need an admin assistant, I'd sign up.
