Tajiki jazz sounds like dying mountain goats.

So I've spent the last 2 hours trying to piece together a set of flights from the southern tip of NZ to the Copper Country.  I still can't seem to get around a loooong layover in LA and still avoid Zambian Airways and an itinerary with stops in Dushambe, Tajikistan and Montevedio, Uraguay.  Not that Montevedio isn't pleasant this time of year and there is the Dushambe Jazz festival going on the first week of April, but I just want to go home, hang out with the pirate family and sample my wine, skipping the piti and Tajiki jazz.

Nonetheless, it means a long day and night in LA.  So, anyone from the left coast?  What the hell is there to do in LA that doesn't involve movie stars, expensive bean sprouts and transvestite hookers?  Before you say it, I'm NOT interested in going anywhere near the beach and the ocean.  Have enough of that shit right here.

Dude, that's pretty much it except for Disneyland. None of the hookers in Disneyland are transvestites.

Good Lord! The comments on the photo were pretty funny. People get way too uptight and righteous over entirely the wrong shit.

oh, i thought the comments were classic. i still want to know how that dude finds that stuff.

pirate...directions?
take your rowboat on the east express (paddle fast, not much to see there) to the panama canal. have some change ready cause i think there's a toll. when you exit the canal, pop north through caribbean, up the east coast (watch your speed, lots of cops). When you get to nova scotia, put on your left blinker and take the left that says "St Lawerance seaway" follow those rivers & lakes to the last one (you'll have to gun it, it's up a 600' hill) then go west till you hit a chunk of land, enter the canal, 6th house on the right past the bridge. I'll leave the light on.

Good luck. There's actually a bit to do in LA. Knotts Berry Farm is supposed to be great. Zoo maybe?

And that dude, how do you find this shit? I'm afraid to read the comments, but I'm going in.
